What is Project Based-Learning (PBL)

Just what is Project-based Learning (PBL)?  How is it any different than doing group work in a classroom? What can PBL offer your child and why should you learn more? Did you know that the knowledge and skills taught during a specific unit in schools don’t always apply to the projects assigned with them? PBL offers the student the ability to pose their own questions, gather resources through community partners, and gain knowledge as they work and create a product that may be used even after the unit is completed.
